As an HVAC and Piping Engineer, I am responsible for the end-to-end design and coordination of piping and ventilation systems for industrial and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with European and Romanian regulations. My role involves technical planning, project execution, site support and cross-functional collaboration to deliver efficient and compliant mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: - Design and development of HVAC and piping systems using 2D and 3D CAD tools. - Conduct thermal and pressure drop calculations to optimize system performance. - Perform on-site Point Cloud 3D scans to support accurate modeling and design. - Select and size equipment, pipes, ducts, fittings, and accessories based on project requirements. - Generate detailed equipment and material specifications, including custom components when necessary. - Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including statements of work, welding maps, and redmark drawings. - Support site operations through documentation, progress reporting, and regular site visits. - Collaborate in project kick-off and coordination meetings with stakeholders. - Create and maintain 3D models and technical descriptions for system integration. - Produce material take-off lists and order schedules to ensure timely procurement. - Deliver final project documentation packages, including PDFs of plans and technical reports.

My main task are the design of piping and ventilation systems for industrial, residential and commercial buildings according to European and Swedish regulations, project overview, technical solutions, communication with people involved in project. The activities I was involved in: • Start-up meetings and meetings; • Drafting 2D and 3D drawings; • Thermal calculations; • Pressure drop calculations; • Equipment, pipes, ducts, fittings and parts size and selection; • Creating custom equipment or accessories if needed; • Modeling and simulations of dynamic and static energy performance for buildings; • Creating 3D models files for systems; • Creating or updating of the technical description; • Ensuring the information the builder needs; • Creating pdfs for the drawn plans.
