Here at Saint Mary's, I am a change-maker, leading a process by which faculty members learn to think and act differently with regards to their research and writing methods. I help them through all stages of the grant application process, from idea-generation to the finer points of style. To put together a winning grant application is to work with a researcher for weeks and even months. I immerse myself in his or her research, and try to become as fluent as possible in its language. I draw upon a wealth of prior experience as a university instructor of English and Creative Writing, and upon my writing and editing skills, to help a prof find and tell the story of his or her research.
