Adrian McMaster is a man of integrity, heart and passion! The GymMaster Fitness Machine is a breakthrough in gym equipment. It totally replaces free weight machines and is suitable for people with a disability or are in a wheelchair! My goal and my passion is to take this invention to the world! At age 7, I was in a coma for three weeks after a severe car accident. With extensive injuries resulting in significant nerve damage, my muscle growth was severely diminished. As a result, I discovered what it was like to live with a disability. After years of excruciating and rigorous rehabilitation, I slowly repaired the damaged nerves and muscles, whilst regaining my strength. More importantly, I learnt that appropriate and regular exercise is mandatory, especially when you’ve been injured or have a disability. In 2009, I then embarked on a two-year journey studying full-time at The Australian Institute of Fitness to become a qualified Personal Trainer. By achieving this, my goal became clearer. I was determined to re-enforce my passion for improving not just my own, but others people’s health and fitness, particularly those with a disability who are unable to use traditional gym equipment. I want to share with the world, the passion I felt after a great workout and after regaining vital muscle strength after a severe accident. So that’s how GymMaster evolved. I now want to involve everybody. Everyone has a heart and everyone benefits from regular exercise. My ultimate aim is to attract investment to get this machine funded and produced in sufficient quantities to be able to install it in as many rehabilitation gyms, hospitals and physio’s as possible, as well as commercial gyms and other fitness training centres. I am a published author and have written various articles about fitness for the disabled. One of my articles also appears in '101 Great Ways to Improve Your Life' Volume 3. The GymMaster Fitness Machine is closing the gap between the disabled and able bodied gym users.
