PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: I am an experienced logistics/Operations professional with over 20 years senior transport management experience gained in fast paced, FMCG Multi-Temperature retail distribution operations in excess of 600,000 sq ft. I have had full P&L budget responsibility of circa £21 million p.a (2008) including assembling the annual budgets using stretching KPI targets. Managed teams in excess of 350 staff and managed circa 400 + tractors, trailers and rigid vehicles on company 'O' licences. I have ‘open’ and ‘closed book’ budget experience working on own account and 3PL operations. The key objective was to achieve EBIT and ROCE targets for company and shareholder benefits. I lead teams to deliver operational excellence through engagement and empowerment using a collaborative style of management.
