I’m a believer that businesses should create value for society by focusing on where they can have the greatest impact. This starts by taking an active responsibility in everything we do and to be a force for good. I am fortunate to be a part of the Tetra Pak family, where together, we commit to making food safe and available everywhere. I gain inspiration every day from our employees who work tirelessly to end food insecurity, expand peoples’ access to safe food, and create a new paradigm for a sustainable business. Growing up in Mexico, I witnessed first-hand how access to food or lack thereof created fundamental inequalities which impacted the well-being of people. That is why I am passionate about finding solutions that help to solve food security and food safety whilst taking care of the planet, to enable communities to achieve their potential. I recognise that we can only create a more sustainable future by addressing the interconnected nature of the environmental, social and economic challenges we face. The key to breaking through these challenges can only come through a diverse range of ideas and partnerships. Through the years, I’ve learnt that innovation and collaboration go hand in hand to create a positive impact for businesses and society, to ultimately Protect What’s Good.
