I have a passion for the FinTech space (Payments, DeFi, Crypto) and developed experience in Finance, Strategy, Business Operations, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Consulting, and Venture Capital. I am driven by self-improvement, dedication, competitiveness, loyalty, honesty, adaptability, and resilience. I bring to the table nine+ years of experience with proven professional progression over the years. Highly motivated, I started my career at the Mexican Stock Exchange where I immediately started developing an analytical mindset. Later a became a Trader at DerFin, a Derivatives Hedge Fund. Here I became assertive and mastered research frameworks across assets (Equity, Debt, & Derivatives), as well as communication skills involving all stakeholders. Afterward, I joined the IFT, as head of investments. Along with Financial Strategic Planning and Budgeting, I developed efficient communication with the executive leadership team. Over the past few years, I co-founded two companies. First wiLend, a microlending platform. From day one, I started developing Leadership and Strategic Direction skills. I led the Product Development, Go-to-Market, and Business Operations strategies. After two years in the leadership team, I lead the acquisition transaction from one of the most important P2P lenders in LATAM. Second Alium Partners, a Boutique IB firm focused on Public Finance practice. Here, I immediately wore the consulting hat, mainly engaging in business development activities (sales & partnerships), and corporate development strategy, leading the alliance deal with CMD. Recently, I earned my MBA. While in the program I held a leadership role as VP of the Entrepreneurship & VC Club. Over the summer, I interned at ClearMarket, a prop-tech startup where I executed Financial Analysis, Due Diligence, Competitive Analysis, Industry Research, and Marketing Strategy. Currently, I am a part-time Investor at SBIG, where I focus on sourcing deals and performing due diligence in the fintech/crypto space.
