During my master's research project with Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., I implemented several supply chain management strategies to significantly reduce lead time and enhance efficiency in Metal Active Gas welding processes. By optimizing hot-wire techniques, I achieved a 50% reduction in weld passes, which directly translated to shorter production cycles and improved throughput. This optimization led to a remarkable 57% increase in overall production efficiency, streamlining the entire welding supply chain. Additionally, I focused on improving the quality of weld joints, resulting in a 22% increase in Vickers hardness and a 92% increase in Charpy toughness. These enhancements not only reduced rework and waste but also minimized potential bottlenecks in subsequent manufacturing stages. Throughout the project, I managed timelines and coordinated closely with industry partners, ensuring smooth communication and alignment across the supply chain. By presenting key findings to company representatives and developing technical reports, I contributed to the establishment of industry best practices, further optimizing the welding process within the broader manufacturing ecosystem.

I carried out Quality Control processes and executed operations in the Machining, Casting, and Assembly departments, significantly enhancing overall production quality. In addition, I performed 2D and 3D modeling tasks for CNC machine components using iCAD SX Fujitsu software, ensuring precision and accuracy in the manufacturing process.

I assisted in optimizing supply chain operations for a leading manufacturer of cold and warm forged steel and aluminum parts, focusing on both automotive and non-automotive sectors. My contributions included improving inventory management and demand forecasting processes, which ensured timely procurement and reduced lead times.
