• Utilized effective coaching methods to lead nine teachers to achieve outstanding student proficiency gains in both math (+14.1%) and reading (+15.5%) on NC final assessments in 2016 • Led team of 15 teachers to exceed average annual student reading growth by 20% by designing and implementing a literacy intervention block • Built data tracking system used to strategically organize 200+ students into intervention groups, monitor academic progress, and modify instructional practices based on data trends • Engaged stakeholders to create first ever “Book Challenge” initiative for 32 students to increase at-home reading time; participating students increased reading levels 40% over expected growth
