• Work as member of project execution in Nigeria as well as at Yokogawa offices in other country; • Work as system/service engineer in a project, participating in Site Survey, Front End Engineering, Detail Engineering, Pre-FAT, FAT and SAT; • Executing modifications in preparation phase as well as on-site; • Commissioning and start-up of projects at customer site both in and outside Nigeria; • Support for other departments like System, Training, sales in a related aspects; • Reporting directly to Service/System /Sales Engineering Managers.

• Ensuring that the client project philosophies, specifications and standards are fully implemented with the ICSS designs, generation of ICSS deliverables, technical evaluation for main Automation contractor, review of ICSS supplier documentation, ICSS integration and coordination with vendors package equipments. • Monitoring and software modifications on new ICSS this include both YOKOGAWA (CENTUM CS3000) and TRICONET (TRISTATION 1131 4.9.0) but not limited to PSS (Process and SafetySystem), ESD (Emergency Shutdown system) and F&G (Fire and Gas system), using maintenance inhibition to override the safety conditions for trip instruments during OTP (Operational Test Procedure) to avoid trips activation

• Checking the integrity of the system, Safety Instruments System validation (SIS), the causes and the effects, punch lists clearance and re-in statement of the instruments. Supervision of process plant instrumentation devices. This includes the department budget control, material requisition for new projects or replacements, finding solutions for various control and instrumentation related problems, work orders, time sheets, as-built and drawing control as well as keeping track and control of the workforce activities and assist with problem solving and advice when needed.

• Supervision of package and utility plant instrumentation including analyzers, various package control systems, fire and gas, safety system and pressure reducing system. General maintenance and fault finding, repairs new installations, modifications and finding solution to various instrumentation and control related devices long term problems and limited work on YOKOGAWA CENTUM CS3000 system. • Organize various programs to the department to increase the level of competency of some instrumentation artisans and gave more advanced training for experienced technicians. Arrange and control various courses to increase the level of understanding on the troubleshooting and the remedial work to the faulty devices

• Assisting operation and vendor for trouble shooting, WORKED WITH OPERATIONAL TEAM FOR, WARRANTY PERIOD, Hook- up the instruments to the unit control panels (UCP) and with limited Worked on YAKOGOWA SYSTEM and FIELD BUS SYSTEM. • Instrument maintenance works, Process fault diagnosis, attending critical breakdown and shutdown jobs, Problem solving of advanced electronic process control systems.

• operating and maintaining Yokogawa Centum-XL compressor ,Monitoring and controlling of Fuel Plant operation through DCS (DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM), HMI (HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE),Operating and maintaining of Allen Brandley PLC for controlling fuel plant, Monitoring and controlling of Nuovo Pignone Compressor parameters like temperature, pressure, speed, flow and vibration through the PLC.

• Installation of Telecommunication equipment and telecom cable termination, fiber optic cable splicing (MECHANICAL AND FUSION SPLICING) Cat5e cable termination, testing with OTDR, Power meter and Landtek Machine for Ethernet and intra connectivity between plants and equipment. Identify network topologies, network categories and network models. Describe how network functions; identify major components, function of network components and the Open System Interconnection (OSI). Reference model. Using host-to-host packet delivery process, describe issue related to increasing traffic on Ethernet LAN and identify switched LAN technology solution to Ethernet networking issues Describe the reasons for extending the reach of a LAN and the methods that can be used with a focus on RF wireless access. Review how to configure and troubleshoot a small network. Describe routing concepts as they apply to a medium-sized network and discuss considerations when implementing routing on the network. Identify and implement the appropriate WAN technology based on network requirements .Describe and implement types of routing protocol suitable to configure based on the customer’s requirement.
