I am a well experienced financial services executive and director with over 25 years of experience in the financial services, financial inclusion & microfinance, management consulting, and logistics & supply chain sectors of the economy. I hold the Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (FICA), Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB), Fellow of the Microfinance Association, UK (FMA), & Certified Microfinance Banking Practitioner (MCIB) credentials and possess an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, Scotland, UK. I have expertise in treasury and asset management, commercial banking, corporate banking, correspondent banking, financial institutions, marketing, risk management, financial markets advisory & training, logistics and supply chain management, financial inclusion, and microfinance banking. As the pioneer Managing Director of IBILE Microfinance Bank – I worked with a team from the Lagos State Ministry of Finance/ PwC , obtained required approvals and operating licenses from the Central Bank of Nigeria, recruited senior management and staff, designed & implemented operational policies & procedures, established corporate governance guidelines & standards, developed an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework and commenced full operations of the bank. I actively work with State, National, and Global Development Finance Institutions as well as agencies of the Lagos State Government to provide sustainable finance solutions for greater impact in the fight against poverty alleviation, unemployment, financial excluded & vulnerable groups such as women, youth & people living with disabilities, as well as the actualization of Millennium Development Goals(MDGs). I am passionate about creating positive social and economic impact for the underserved and underbanked segments of the population, and contributing to the development and growth of the microfinance sector in Nigeria.
