With close to 30 years of experience in the engineering, administration and consulting industry, I am a strategic partner and a transformational leader who drives innovation and change in the architecture, engineering, construction (AEC) and public sector(s). At Indian River County, as the Director (and Floodplain Administrator) I am responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, the focus is on optimizing infrastructure programs, integrating analytical insights, and fostering sustainable community growth. Core strengths include data-driven decision-making, financial oversight, and stakeholder collaboration. Previously, contributions as Vice President at EPIC Engineering & Consulting Group supported the delivery of high-impact engineering solutions across water, transportation, and land development sectors. Dedicated to operational excellence, the mission of my professional journey is to drive meaningful change by empowering teams and advancing public projects and processes that serve community needs effectively. My core competencies include public administration and leadership, business development, project and program management, financial and operational oversight, staff mentoring and coaching, and stakeholder engagement. I have a proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex and multi-disciplinary projects, securing and managing grants and contracts, and facilitating community and economic development initiatives. I am also passionate about advancing the AEC industry through research, education, and advocacy, and I serve as an advisor, speaker, and board member for several professional and academic organizations. My mission is to leverage my expertise and experience to create positive and lasting impacts for the communities I serve, my team, and strategic stakeholders.
