• Responsible for overseeing all photography-related work at RTI International – an international, nonprofit research institute dedicated to improving the human condition. • Established the institute's first digital asset management system (DAM), which now houses over 60 years of RTI's visual content. • Manage the institute's DAM, including overseeing the organization of assets and the accompanying IPTC metadata. • Edit metadata while monitoring for AP Style, as well as RTI's style and brand guidelines. • Photograph internal news, portraits and research projects. • Work closely with corporate communications and executive leadership on corporate level initiatives, marketing projects and communication plans. • Serve as project team manager and creative director for photoshoots and other visual projects. • Edit digital content for RTI's intranet and external website, RTI.org. • Serve as lead contact for freelance photographers and other visual content vendors. • Use Photo Mechanic and Photoshop to cull and edit images for relevancy and overall visual strength.

• Photographed a wide range of local stories while utilizing strong news judgement. • Managed and edited archive images and wire photos for daily print and web publication. • Wrote and edited relevant captions and managed metadata for the newspaper's photos.

Photographed a wide range of stories and news events while working closely with editors and reporters on long-term coverage of community issues and substantial events, such as the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

• Photographed lifestyle, sports and news events for the student-run newspaper. • Collaborated with reporters and editors to generate creative stories.
