Wrote simple, concise, and conversational math lessons addressed to high school students preparing for the SAT and ACT. I also constructed illustrative and challenging practice questions to assist the integration of concepts, while providing clear, step-by-step solutions

Together with another visiting fellow, I organized and conducted an in-house study on the reliability of a suite of cognitive tests.

Working in VHDL, I developed an extremely area-efficient artificial neuron design and creatively adapted an analog conditioned-response network to simpler digital hardware, both for implementation in Field Programmable Gate Arrays. I also publicly presented to professors while fielding questions regarding the work.

Removed a significant research obstacle by forming contacts, researching independently, and finding, obtaining, and adapting a suitable dataset.

This was an immersive, rapid-instruction language program. There were 6 different courses of advancing skill level, each taking a 3-month semester to complete, and I was there for 1 semester. I wasn't satisfied with how I did on the placement tests though, so for a week I studied intensely, then convinced the teachers to let me try and test into the next level. I passed the test and jumped to the level above, then caught up with the other students and did well in the course."]
