About

Adam Workman is Head of Investments and New Ventures at Oxford University Innovation. I have been supporting early stage businesses since 2000. My focus is on driving technology from the lab to the market. I have been fortunate to be involved with companies across a range of sectors including therapeutics, med tech, deep tech, climate tech and social ventures. I find myself developing companies in the early years and supporting exits in both trade sales and distressed situations. Born in Newport, South Wales and moved to Swansea as a teenager. A proud Welsh man who is rugby mad. Educated at a local comprehensive school, Cambridge University opened up so many opportunities that I am always thankful for. I have been fortunate to work in some great cities including Birmingham, Cambridge, Manchester, London, Liverpool, Oxford and The Hague. Always fascinated to see how much richness in people and technology the UK has to offer.
