Barings’ Private Equity team is a control investor in businesses with a focus on specialty infrastructure, intangible assets and natural resources (~$3B AUM). The team targets companies and assets with predictable cash flow and opportunities to build long-term value through hands-on active management. As an analyst on the private equity team, I was responsible for underwriting, assessing, and sourcing new opportunities, as well as maximizing the performance of our existing portfolio companies. Campus Enterprises (CE) is a student-run business at Duke University that provides many services to Duke students such as bed delivery and storage, custom apparel, cleaning, and food delivery.
