Self-Employed TEFL teacher based in Alcala de Henares, I offered classes virtually and before moving back from Madrid I also offered face-to-face lessons. I have a number of students with different levels of English. As a self-employed TEFL teacher, I designed all my own classes for virtual and face-to-face classes, specialized in the requirements, interests, and English level of the student. I create innovative learning exercises to help student conversation techniques in different scenarios.

My role as part of this internship was to review the Exit Entry App (application to help guide secondary and third-level students towards studies and work better suited towards them) and suggest what content should EMPOWER include on the app to showcase EMPOWER female entrepreneurs and inspire young females to consider a career in entrepreneurship. This involved gathering information about EMPOWER and past participants. Using this information I would design and develop a 12-month content for the Exit Entry App. Key Accomplishments: • Designed a content plan and a process of how it can be carried out after my internship. • Delivered strategies of how to promote and display different content on the Exit Entry app. • The app I had to display content on restricted me to my initial ideas, and I was still able to display content at a high standard.

Employed as a Marketing Intern for Whitehorn Equine Health as part of my third-year studies for my degree Bachelor of Business (Honours) in Marketing and Sales at GMIT. As a marketing intern my role involves carrying out market research tasks such as competitor analysis and researching information domestic and international markets related to the business to help compete and increase brand and consumer reach. Along with market research I am involved with social media and promotional tasks for the company designing advertisements, and idea generation to help engage with customers online and to grow the social media following. Key Accomplishments: • Introduced and designed ‘Whitethorn Diaries’, a weekly post on all social media accounts to help engage and increase the following of the business and its social accounts. • Performed competitor and partnership research related to the equine and canine veterinary market in North America, Canada and Europe.
