* Performed a comprehensive problem analysis of high-end hardware and software modems. Designed a time-varying filter for reducing prolonged settling times following defibrillation events. This life-saving feature enables surgeons to promptly know how patients respond to defibrillation shocks. Implemented an on-demand respiration module based on surface ECG measurements. My design significantly facilitated respiratory status monitoring of patients by system specialists and surgeons. Formulated and tested evaluation metrics for post-ablation lesion formation. These metrics provide invaluable insight into the efficacy of ablation procedures and can save patients from undergoing redo procedures.
