Adam Davis, PhD

Postdoctoral position to work on the SciFi tracker for the upgrade of the LHCb detector at CERN and explore heavy flavor physics at the LHC.

Pursuing Ph.D. in Particle Physics at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH. Specifically interested in Flavor Physics, including CPV in the D meson system, neutral meson mixing, and physics beyond the standard model.

Teaching High School courses on a one on one basis. Focused primarily on teaching Introductory Physics as well as High School Mathematics, including Algebra I and II, PreCalculus and Statistics.

Responsibilities of a BEN Corps. Fellow were to first and foremost plan and teach a course to underprivileged students as well as provide one on one support to students by creating a personal relationship and by acting as a coordinator for student run clubs. Taught a Fundamentals of Music course to sixth and seventh graders as well as assistant taught eighth grade mathematics. At the end of September, 2009, the entirety of the BEN Corps Fellows program was released without reason given.
