Adam Crisp, Ph.D.

I studied statistics at University College London and University of Cambridge and am currently head of statistics for buisiness development projects across GSK's Specialty and Primary Care portfolio. Previoulsy I have had roles leading international statistics groups at GSK aligned to various disease areas. With over 25 years' industry experience, I have worked in a number of therapeutic areas including neurology, anti-virals, metabolism and cardiovascular and hepatology/renal, spanning all phases of drug development. I have extensive experience in the design, conduct and analysis of outcomes trials and have participated in FDA Advisory Committee meetings and numerous other regulatory interactions. I have a wide range of statistical interests and have published on topics such as sample-size methodology for outcomes trials, use of composite endpoints and blinding in clinical trials. Also a very hands-on statistician, able to write R code to evaluate complex designs or to build models for Probability of Success to support asset-level decision making. I also serve on the PSI Board as Director for Special Interest Groups and have previously been a member of the PSI Scientific Committee.
