Specific procedures and materials/tools for safe and effective execution of offshore and onshore work, such as major equipment overhauls, annual shutdown, and equipment modifications. •Assist in the training and development of electrical technicians; BITE testing, maintenance procedures, etc •Recommend selection of vendors and contractors for the purchase of materials, equipment, and supplies, and contracting of engineering consultants, workshops and specialized technical services to improve operating efficiency.

Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
•Responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and calibration of all plant electrical and instruments associated with the M1 plant. This included transformers, switchgear, transmitters (flow, pressure, level, temperature, etc), motors, analyzers, ph meters, gauges and control valves. •QA/QC electrical inspector at the AUM site for the commissioning of 5 substations. This included insulation testing of cables, functional as well as relay testing of LV and MV switchgears(including MCC’s), transformer testing and inspection (ratio tests, PI, winding resistance, energizing etc,), bus bar inspections and testing, inspection of UPS and DCP’s, testing of ATS (automatic transfer systems), motor runs, etc. Also performed earth-mat and grounding resistance and checks. •Shop calibration of all plant Hart /Fieldbus protocol transmitters and valves.
