Winston Churchill said, 'We make a life by what we give.' With the privilege of pursuing an education and developing my talents, I try my best to give back. My experience and passion lie in international social impact, particularly in the Philippines, where I’ve worked in micro-enterprise education, mentoring, program development, and project planning/execution. I’m blessed to drive the development for the Water Impact Network, a nonprofit bringing clean water to underserved communities across Africa and the globe. We are bringing the water monitoring technology to these projects to connect donors with their wells years beyond installations. I value freedom and self-reliance above nearly everything else. I believe everyone deserves the tools to stand on their own feet. The humanitarian work I engage in is rooted in dignity and long-term empowerment. When we offer one another respect and responsibility instead of pity, we all rise in unexpected ways.
