Manages and coordinates the maintenance, safety, compliance, capital expenditures, and budgeting functions of operations facility of Watergroup in Canada. Holds multi-million dollar operational P&L responsibility, overseeing all research & development of new products through direct reporting to professional engineers and technicians. Oversees 12 direct and 8 indirect reports, catering to 1,100+ B2B customers across Canada and 100+ B2B customers globally. Notable Contributions | • Manages the safety and health of all employees by complying with all internal policies and government regulations. • Standardized new practices and implemented new processes within the 50,000 sq. ft. Cambridge facility in support of a turnaround project that ultimately bolstered internal efficiencies and enhanced customer relationship management. • Satisfies regulatory inspections and audits, regularly exceeding expectations through the development of custom processes and functions to support the needs of both warehouses.

Managed the coordination and overall integration of technical activities associated with the engineering of WaterGroup’s water treatment products. Designed, directed, reviewed, and approved project designs and changes; conferred regularly with management, production, marketing staff, and customers to discuss project specifications and/or procedures. Presented and explained proposals to clients; assessed project feasibility by analyzing technology, resource needs, and market demand. Notable Contributions | • Led the development of over 40 different product lines as Engineering Product Manager; executed 35+ small ($100,000+) and large ($4M+) projects within 2 years as leader of the engineering group. Products amounted to double-digit profits in annual gross revenue. • Outsourced products to markets across China, Europe, and North America — effectively slashing significant SKU count. • Managed 3 direct and 1 indirect reports, mentoring and training Technicians and Project Engineers through design, prototype assembly, testing, certification, and creation of products. • Pioneered product rationalization processes with the aim of improving company revenues and efficiencies. Redesigned ordering processes to ensure ease of access and accuracy of orders. • Spearheaded Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) initiative to obtain valuable rebates for actively participating in Canadian R&D movements.
