I am very much self-motivated and have more than 20 years’ experience as both naval architect and marine engineer within the maritime oil and gas sector of the ship building industry. Many of these years I have been in senior project managerial positions and it is within this field that I wish to continue my career. To monitor the overall construction of two in numbers self-Propelled DP-II, Jack-up barges utilizing an electrical Rack and Pinion jacking system. Day to day inspection of various hull and other block fabrications ongoing in the fabrication yard and at the final assembly area along with all new piping system fabrication, installation and testing as final completion progressed. Day to day inspection and monitoring of the fabrication, assembling and erection of the legs. 8 sections per leg, 4 legs per rig, 85M length in each. Spud-cans, Jack Houses/ Jacking Wells included. Installation of 2 No offshore cranes, 300t & 100t along with the 4 No azimuth thrusters per rig. Plus the outfit and final acceptance of the 90 man accommodation unit and helideck. The follow-up and monitoring of all related QA/QC systems for the project in line with contractual specifications and international acceptance standard.
