- Determine the needs of the company in regard to machinery and supplies necessary for safe operation and adjust inventory accordingly. - Develop and apply the procurement strategies to meet cost savings targets. Select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. - Cooperate with suppliers on cost, quality, and delivery schedule to ensure on-time deliveries of final product - Develop purchasing or sourcing strategies based on portfolio analysis and supplier preference study - Create monthly performance reviews and reports focusing on overall sourcing requirements and supplier performance by using Kpi Program to measurable the value that demonstrates how effectively a company is achieving key business objectives and to evaluate Company’s success at reaching targets - Using Kpi program to raise the RFP, PO, and Invoices to ensure compare the products, prices, and lease terms, and make the best decision for the company.

The purpose of this project is to analyze 14 wells that Halliburton ( Summit ESP) has given us within 3 states which are Oklahoma, Texas and North Dakota. All of the wells are installed with Electronic Submersible Pump (ESP) by Summit ESP. After a duration of time of production, Summit ESP experience a downtime of ESP with multiple problems including gas locking. Summit ESP required us to propose a way for them to predict the effective reservoir pressure that is a function of time so that they can utilize it for the resizing process if the ESP is experiencing a downtime.

This internship provided me with practical experience in steam injection, loading and offloading crude oil, steam boiler maintenance, and well testing. I worked in Amal Field to maintain seven steam boilers and learn more about the steam injection process by producing steam for more than 200 wells.

I learned from two main courses about protecting Health, Safety & the Environment (HSE), and understanding H2S & SO2. This training made me aware and ready to go to any field in Oman. I obtained two Entry Permits for H2S & SO2 and the HSE PDO Training Passport.
