- Ensuring the Implementation of OHSA Act and Regulations. - Investigating Accident/ Incident/ Near miss/ Loss time Injuries and any other work-related injuries. - Analyzing the underlying cause and root cause of incidents happening at the construction site. - Conducting Job hazard analysis, and safe work procedures for the construction activities planned to be conducted. - Maintaining the OHS KPIs for the organization. - Ensuring the training requirements for all construction crew such as work at heights, aerial work platforms, WHMIS, MOL awareness, OHS Orientation, Etc. - Compliant with client requirements related to work permits, job safe cards, safety weekly meetings, Safety Stand down, stretch and flex, Etc.

 Conduct safety & environment, audits and inspections in order to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action and implement follow up assessments.  Planning, implementation, and conducts occupational safety compliance training programs.  Planning, implementation, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises and respective projects sites.  Provide project management team with guidance on Occupational health and safety compliance and ensure workplace complies with organization, legal, state, government guidelines & regulations.  Collaborate with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project sites injuries and incident notifications.  Leading the incident investigations, identifying underlying cause and root cause for incident instanced.  Maintain the online database for safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondences.  Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.  Provides technical support to project managers, team leaders and execution team.  Coordinate and monitor schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.  Leading the monthly Safety committees meeting , representing the statistics for Safe man hours, occupational injuries and accidents with Department Managers, and company officials.  Striving to meet with targeted % for the monthly and annual OHS KPIs of Department.  Managing, mobilizations and hiring for the Safety Engineers, Safety officers and OHS representatives.

- Analyse, assess and evaluate the implementation of the 5 Star Safety and Health Management System for individual contractors of Saudi Electricity Company in Eastern Region. - Lining up the contractors with the ISO 45001:2018 OHS management system implementation, its pattern to be followed while routine activities. - Provision of analysis for HSE Assurance data within area of responsibility. Reports on progress on implementation of Sustainability Objectives and key performance indicators (KPI) as required. - Accomplished approx. 120 Audits for the various contractors, focused on key issues, and reports periodically to Region management and Group HSE Manager. Identified and assigned audit teams based on assessment of skills. - Identification of conformities and non-conformities for the various construction activities for the SEC projects. Addressed and established suitable measure to prevent the re-occurrences for the non-conformities. - Contribution towards driving behavioral change and continuous improvement though delivery of audits and expert support to the Contractors in line with yearly HSE plan agreed with Saudi Electricity. - Delivery of training and support where required to improve OHS performance.
