As a Telecommunications Engineer working with Hayat Communications—a key contractor for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)—I assist in the deployment, maintenance, and support of critical telecommunications systems across various oil and gas field sites. Key responsibilities include: • Assisting in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of telecom systems on PDO sites • Providing technical support for network and communication services • Conducting field checks and diagnostics to maintain operational integrity • Coordinating with PDO teams and senior engineers for system upgrades and site requirements • Ensuring compliance with PDO health, safety, and quality standards

Intern (Itqan Program) Oman Fiber Optic Company Powered by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry & Investment Promotion I joined the Itqan internship in the Telecom Solutions Department, where I set up and troubleshooted Wi‑MAX networks, access control and CCTV systems, and configured routers, switches, and firewalls. I also understood network designs and standard procedures, gaining practical expertise in broadband and telecom technologies.

As a Network & Telecommunications Intern, I supported network configuration, infrastructure deployment, and performance monitoring, gaining hands‑on experience with routers, switches, and fiber‑optic systems.
