Abbey Drake

I am currently working towards my second degree from Indiana University in Athletic Administration and Sports Management. I have a passion for sports and learning how to better myself academically and professionally. While at IU I have demonstrated my communication and organizational skills not only working with other students in the lab but also in the athletic offices. I started off my athletic career as a collegiate Rower for the first half of college. The second half of college I have focused on expanding my career development by working as a Development Assistant for the IU Varsity Club which is the fundraising and scholarship leg of athletics, and as an intern for the Director of Football Operations helping run the team. Looking forward, I hope to continue to challenge myself in the world of collegiate athletics as I strive to work for a collegiate football program after graduation. I want to put my skills, passion, and enthusiasm for football to work alongside the staff to continue to grow the number of women working in football. My passion for football and experience in the field of athletics allows me to come up with quick solutions, manage tasks, communicate with staff, and stay organized.
