I was born in Tehran, Iran. Grew up in Abadan, Iran. Came to the United States in August of 1971, to continue my High School education. Attended college from 1973 until 1977. Joined the U.S. Navy from March of 1977 until March of 1981. Was in Insurance sales from 1981 until 1987. Joined the Fairfax County Police Department in March of 1988, and retired in August of 2013. Currently, I'm enjoying a little break and trying to decide what I may want to do next.

Attended the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy from March through July of 1988. Worked as Patrol Officer, from July of 1988 until November of 1997. Worked as a Detective, from November of 1997 until January of 2012. Finished off my career, in Fairfax (January of 2012 until the end of August 2013).
