Abbas Booshehrian, Ph.D.

I am currently a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Tesla, where I focus on developing multimodal AI solutions that leverage a combination of Large Language Models (LLMs), audio, and vision models to power intelligent, scalable systems across the organization. Previously, I served as a Senior Data Scientist on the R&D team at Cargill, where I developed AI solutions to improve efficiency, visibility, and sustainability across the company’s factories and plants. My work primarily involved applying traditional machine learning and computer vision techniques to industrial settings. I hold a Ph.D. in Engineering, where my research centered on the application of machine learning techniques in non-destructive testing of structures. Over the years, I have published several journal and conference papers.
