I work at the intersection of costing, sourcing, and supplier execution in manufacturing environments - figuring out not just what a part should cost, but why, and how to get there without compromising quality or timelines. Currently, I'm a Costing & Sourcing Engineer at Raptee.HV, driving end-to-end sourcing for New Product Development (NPD) parts across multiple commodities for India's newly-launched electric motorcycle platform - from supplier identification and onboarding, through sample validation, RFQ, and cost negotiation, to production release. It's a fast-paced EV environment where every sourcing decision affects cost, speed, and scalability, often within a lean startup budget. Before this, I was a Procurement Engineer with Accenture, supporting Hitachi Global Air Power (HGAP) Sullair. There, I managed supplier coordination across India, China, and the US, ran RFQs and should-cost/ZBC validation, and negotiated cost savings of up to 55% with non-MSME suppliers while maintaining technical and quality compliance - alongside end-to-end PPAP coordination. That experience has been hands-on and practical: sitting with quotations, walking supplier floors, and seeing firsthand where delays, cost overruns, and inefficiencies actually originate in the sourcing cycle - not just where they show up on a report.
