Current research into electrochemical signalling using DNA hybridization models for detection and quantification of oligonucleotides on solid-state devices fail to show a relationship between target probe length, and stability to signal intensity. My research involves characterizing the signalling effects of DNA nanowire stability and length in order to better direct research in novel models for lab-on-chip DNA hybridization, electrocatalytic signalling detection and quantification. If results show promising relationship between DNA stability, and target-capture probe duplex length, efforts will be made to create tertiary hybridization models to augment electrocatalytic signalling.

Inspired by the global challenge set by the Bill and Melinda Foundation in their 'Grand Challenges Exploration Round 11', I have researched novel microfabrication technology to alter surface morphology of latex films. Using quick, efficient, and inexpensive chemical based methods, it is the purpose of my research to reinvent latex condoms in order to enhance the experience of condom use to preserve pleasure.
