International purchasing for Sanmina Centralized Purchasing Team (CPT). Quote, place, confirm and follow up orders. Using MRP or manual for RFQ's, analyze pricing and availability, monitor supplier delivery, negotiate price / volume / delivery dates, RMA's processes, expedite and reschedule as necessary to meet production requirements. Solve AP issues through analysis and investigation. Research alternative suppliers/brokers for obsolete or long lead time parts, manage implementation of engineering changes, interpretation of procurement policies, negotiation, approval of PPV's & Excess, PO changes (price, qty, incoterm).

Purchasing of materials in accordance with the guidelines set forth by Plexus management and Plexus customers in terms of price, quality and delivery. Managing all Excess and Obsolete Inventory items in accordance with OIX guidelines. Order placement, rescheduling, cancellation of items and/or receiving and invoice issue reconciliation and approval. Knowledge in PCBs, custom parts and programmed parts. Negotiate lead-time constraints with suppliers to negate missed commitment dates. Review all delivery issues and take appropriate corrective action to avoid schedule impact. Participate in the formal Parts Shortage Escalation process. Manage and resolve PO Purchase Price Variance issues. Attend MRB meetings as scheduled to maintain satisfactory compliance of nonconforming materials return and disposition as outlined in the SOP. Manage and resolve Early Warning receipts in allotted time frame. Analyze and drive continuous improvements to materials metrics for assigned area. Help to support team when needed.

Global purchasing, vendor negotiation (price, freight, payment terms), maintain maximum/minimum level of stock, logistics, vendor development, follow up purchase orders, analyze competitors, new trends, find new vendors, build strategic relationship with key suppliers.

Plan, guide, create and develop innovative lessons and activities.

Manage the truck fleet, purchase building materials, vendor negotiation, route planning, data analysis, weekly reports.

Purchase and receipt consumable goods, customer service, vendor negotiations, weekly price variance monitoring, warehouse organization (rotate and inventory to avoid waste), delivery issues, arrival inspection (review product quality), identify new suppliers.

Internal purchasing, shipping negotiation, customer service, organize meetings, product design, identify hazards and take measures to prevent work injuries.
