Operations Supervisor 3PL, 4PL Logistics and Supply Chain •Organize and Delegate the daily operations workflow and job responsibilities within the logistics facility to ensure effective control and leadership of the receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading, VAS and shipping of customers products. •Maintain records of inventory and location for accurate production control and cost accounting to ensure adherence to RSA-Talke's warehouse and distribution procedures. •Conduct inventory control through monthly cycle stock counts to maintain stock integrity and through this ensure that financial stock takes and stock counts are conducted according to client contracts and RSA-Talke's requirements. This would ensure that stock integrity is maintained in line with the WMS in place, client specific. •Maintain Security and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) policies, and procedures to ensure that quality standards & requirements in the distribution center are complied with. •Develop competence and motivation of staff and ensure staff daily performance. •Ensure facility temperature requirements for assigned areas is managed and measured daily for specific client products. •Elevate potential problems and opportunities for improvement to the Logistics Supervisor •Ensure proper housekeeping at all times within the area of responsibility. •Establish operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of cargo, and keeping the warehouse inventory current and well balanced. •Optimize individual employee performance through effective leadership, coaching, development & training, motivating staff and creating opportunities for future growth. •Evaluate daily performances on staff reporting to me and provide continuous feedback to the Logistics Supervisor on performance improvement initiatives such as ‘Continuous improvement program’ •Maintain all the shipping records as per company policy
