Aadit S. Pahal

I am currently developing an innovative indoor navigation system aimed at addressing the widespread challenge of navigating large and complex infrastructures such as malls, schools, and corporate facilities. With this venture, my vision is to transform the field of Geospatial Technology and Location-Based Services by eliminating the difficulties traditionally associated with indoor navigation. Although still in development, I am confident that this solution will soon be ready for deployment, representing a significant step toward seamless, accurate, and intuitive indoor wayfinding.

With my first Model United Nations (MUN) experience, I had the chance to engage in diplomacy and high-level problem-solving while representing global perspectives. For someone passionate about trading, computer science, and analytical thinking, this experience was a natural extension of my intellectual curiosity. It pushed me to sharpen critical reasoning, structured communication, and negotiation skills — all essential in both policy debates and fields like markets and technology. Beyond improving my ability to articulate complex ideas, MUN reinforced my drive to approach challenges with strategy, creativity, and precision.

In July 2023, I had the unique opportunity to participate in an Artificial Intelligence internship at the National University of Singapore (NUS). As a 9th-grade student at the time, this experience gave me an early introduction to the exciting world of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, exponentially increasing my knowledge about AI. During the program, I explored key concepts such as Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). I also gained hands-on exposure to essential tools used in AI research and development, including Jupyter Notebook and Anaconda, which allowed me to experiment with real datasets and run machine learning models. Additionally, we had an opportunity to test our knowledge hands-on with a group project, for which I was selected as the group leader. By doing this project, I discovered the vast and fascinating nature of AI and what it can achieve. I was very grateful for this extremely insightful and highly informative technology. I gained a deeper appreciation for the vast potential of Artificial Intelligence and its real-world applications. This experience was profoundly insightful and further strengthened my passion for exploring innovative technologies. This experience not only strengthened my technical understanding of AI but also taught me the importance of teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership in applying technology to practical challenges.
