With more than 20 years of experience in information security, I am passionate about helping clients mitigate their security risks in their digital transformation journey. As the Vice President and Managing Director of Cipher in Portugal, the cybersecurity division of Prosegur, I lead a team of experts who provide end-to-end cybersecurity solutions and services across various industries and sectors. I hold the CRISC and CISM certifications, as well as the EU GDPR Foundation and Practitioner certifications and the CIPM certification. I have a strong background in risk and information systems control, security information management, privacy management, and business strategy. I also have a keen interest in innovation and entrepreneurship, especially in the healthcare sector. I am currently a guest professor at the Universidade Europeia and ISCTE, where I teach postgraduate courses on cybersecurity. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and insights with the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and leaders.
