As Japan's first bearings manufacturer, NSK has a history spanning nearly a century. As one of the world's leading bearings manufacturers, NSK contributes to industrial development globally by quickly and accurately meeting the diverse needs of customers around the world. Based on the theme of “Motion & Control” as the cornerstone of its business operations, the company develops and provides steering and other automotive parts as well as precision and parts products in addition to bearings. NSK is a global enterprise with 210 facilities in 30 countries that serve a diverse range of industrial customers with a wide range of precision components in addition to bearings. NSK operates 64 plants across the globe, and among these, two-thirds are located outside of Japan. Two third of NSK’s revenues were generated outside of Japan in FY2015. NSK (China) Investment Co., Ltd. is NSK Ltd., China’s headquarter solely responsible for mainland China and Hong Kong production, technology, sales and operations. In the beginning of the 1960s, NSK entered into China for the related bearing technical exchange programs. The first office was established in Beijing in 1992 and the first plant in Jiangsu city, Kunshan province was inaugurated in 1995. To date, NSK has set up over 30 production plants, R&D centers, sales offices and subsidiaries throughout China. With leadership and support from NSK headquarter, NSK China is committed to a sustainable rapid economic development through introduction of advanced production technology and management experience, to gradually establish and improve its integrated business system with “Production quality being its cornerstone, Market-oriented and Technology being the core”. Meanwhile, NSK continues to accelerate the localization process of the integrated system to provide a more direct and complete service for the vast number of users in China.
