World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE)

Launched in 2009 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) is a Qatar Foundation initiative that was developed to promote creative thinking, debate, and purposeful action in the education sector. Since then, the biennial summit has become an international platform spanning multiple year-round projects and programs that are helping build the future of education through collaboration. Through initiatives like the WISE Awards, which recognize each year six innovative education projects that are changing lives across the world, we work towards building global momentum for the education sector. Our other initiatives include the WISE Prize for Education, the WISE Accelerator, the WISE Research Series and the Learners'​ Voice Program. WISE also runs the WISE Words podcast, now available on iTunes and Soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/wisewordspodcast. We also curate quality education articles from across the globe and publish original contributions from key international thought leaders on our WISE ed.review platform.
