It all started with a tiny robot workshop in downtown Aarhus, where electronics and mechanics fused with bare metal into art installations that brought the smiles out at concerts and theatrical events in Denmark. Today Wahlberg Motion Design is a manufacturing company that supplies solutions to the world's entertainment industry, as ever headed by entrepreneur and inventor Mads Wahlberg. Our specialty is motion design. We build cranes that can raise curtains, lamps and props to hang above fair halls and similar events. We create track systems so that the lights move fast across opera house and theater stages. Our products are resonating around the globe. In our portfolio are Canadian rapper Drake world tour 2016 + 2017, Jean-Michel Jarre's Electronica Tour, BMW's Centenary Celebration, and the European Song Contest 2015 and official insider events preceding Super Bowl 2017. Furthermore, we have worked on exciting projects with national talent over the years connected to European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017, Aarhus Theater, Moesgaard Museum, The National Danish Girl’s choir, the Skanderborg Music Festival and others. We are in daily contact with production companies and lighting designers worldwide, meeting their needs and demands for technical solutions in order to create magic in the tour, show or trade fair coming up.
