Viwit Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (Viwit), founded in 2006, is a research-based biopharmaceutical healthcare company dedicated to the development, manufacture and marketing of innovative products in the fields of Specialty Generics, 505(b)2, APIs, Boranes and New Drugs Development. Viwit is dedicated to serve customers for their greater success and healthier living. Viwit consists of six subsidiaries, including two integrated R&D centers and three cGMP production facilities. It covers a land area of 199,000 ㎡ and employs nearly 600 staffs, including more than 150 scientists, many with PhD or master degrees. All three production facilities are managed under cGMP and ICH quality systems, and are certified respectively by US FDA, Health Canada, China NMPA and Mexican COFEPRIS. The Origin of the Viwit Brand The Viwit name was created by combining "Vita,"​ meaning “life” in Latin, with "Wita,"​ meaning “wise man” in Old English. It was chosen for its simple pronunciation, and its meaning implies the company’s mission, vision and philosophy.
