Vitabalans Oy

Vitabalans Oy is a Finnish, privately owned pharmaceutical company founded in 1980. Vitabalans develops, manufactures and markets POM and OTC pharmaceuticals, food supplements, medical devices and animal health products. Our production and extensive product lines cover prescription and OTC medicines and food supplements. All the facilities and production, research and product development, registration and marketing are located in Hämeenlinna, 100 km from Helsinki to north. Our three separate production plants allow the manufacturing of medicines, food supplements and probiotic products. Our competence and production facilities cover not only tablet manufacturing but also enable manufacturing of powders, creams, and solutions. Currently we employ 210 persons including 70 persons working in our subsidiaries in the export countries. Our staff consists of pharmaceutical experts, chemists, doctors, laboratory technicians, sales and marketing professionals as well as specialty trained staff. Vitabalans Oy started foreign export in 1995. In 20 years, we have expanded on the European market, and have subsidiaries in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Germany.
