Visiona Tecnologia Espacial S.A.

Established in 2012, Visiona Space Technology is a joint venture between Embraer Defense & Security and Telebras. Focused on the integration of space systems and the provision of satellite-based services, the company supports the objectives of the Brazilian Space Programme and meets market demands. Visiona was responsible for the Geostationary Defence and Strategic Communications Satellite Programme, SGDC1, launched in 2017. In 2023, the company launched VCUB1, the first Earth observation and data collection nanosatellite designed by a Brazilian company. Currently, Visiona leads the SatVHR project, a very high-resolution Earth observation satellite, supported by FINEP and with extensive participation from Brazilian companies and research institutions. Visiona also provides Remote Sensing and Satellite Telecommunications products and services, as well as SAR Aerial Surveying in X and P bands, consistently striving for technological leadership. In this market, Visiona has successfully completed over 100 projects across various sectors such as agriculture, oil and gas, financial services, utilities, environmental management, and defence.
