Universal Components is a worldwide distributor of commercial vehicle and trailer components with over 100 years experience in the industry. Company Overview: The company was founded in 1908 manufacturing and repairing laminated road springs, but after many years recognised a growing demand for aftermarket spares and changed the business model to become a wholesaler of commercial vehicle components. In the past 25 years the company has also been known as Kellett UK Ltd and more recently Multipart Universal, a part of the Lex Group of companies. But these names are long gone and the new era of specialist distribution for commercial vehicle components is Universal Components UK Ltd. Part of the TVS Group - Universal Components has a proven track record seeing year on year growth since 2004 and supplies in excess of 600 customers via 1,000 delivery sites through 35 different countries. UC offers over 30,000 products across 14 major groups backed by our stringent quality control process and new product developments regulated by ISO9001/2008 accreditation. Product Overview: Over 25,000 product lines supplied from depots across the UK. The 165,000sqft main distribution centre is located in Barnsley at the heart of the United Kingdom employing in excess of 100 people. Our focus is on support and service geared around a technical sales approach and continued product development. In house marketing offers up-to-date and accurate cataloguing with a full e-commerce media option via our new web site www.ucgroup.com. Assurance is guaranteed with a team of worldwide engineers who follow a QC inspection process to ensure all products are of the highest OEM equivalent product standard and quality.
