At United Way of Central New York, our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community. For more than a century we have been a trusted partner, raising awareness, engaging the community, and directing resources where they are needed most. We work across sectors by bringing together individuals, nonprofits, businesses, and government partners to solve complex challenges and create lasting solutions. To meet evolving needs we fund high-impact programs, coordinate partnerships, convene stakeholders, deliver direct services, engage volunteers, and use data to drive collective impact. Our efforts focus on four key areas: Youth Opportunity, Healthy Community, Financial Security, and Community Resiliency. Working together with our donors, partners, and the people we serve, we are building a Central New York where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
