Techniche, IIT Guwahati

Techniche is the annual techno-management festival of IIT Guwahati, the largest fest of its kind in the North-East. Established in 1999, it was envisioned to inspire the youth to think beyond boundaries and strive for excellence in all spheres of techno-management. Organised solely by the student fraternity of IIT Guwahati, the fest serves as a platform to nurture talent, spark curiosity, and promote technological and social betterment through a wide range of events, competitions, workshops, and lectures. The Guwahati Half Marathon, hosted by Techniche, reflects this spirit—bringing people together to raise awareness and drive change around meaningful social causes. The team is also responsible for the conduction of Technothlon, India's largest student organized logic-based examination for school students, aimed at inspiring young minds.
