Shams Power is Pakistan based solar energy developer and project investor/owner pioneering the distributed solar model in Pakistan's Industrial and Commercial sectors on a Power Purchase Agreement basis.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Established in 2015 by two of Pakistan's leading energy companies, PITCO and Orient Power, Shams Power has a growing portfolio of solar investments across Pakistan's Industrial and Commercial sectors. A further 50MW is under development. Shams Power is one of the first Pakistani companies to have received a Distribution License from the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) for distributed solar power sales.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Shams Power's management team brings substantial experience in setting up and undertaking O&M of power projects. PITCO has set up over 3,500 MW of power generation to date, and Orient Power owns and operates over 550MW of thermal and solar power plants.
