Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences offers one of Canada’s most comprehensive and integrated programs and has a strong reputation for producing world-class innovative research. Researchers and students from a broad spectrum of disciplines, spanning the humanities, social sciences, and life sciences, work together in a unique, non-departmentalized environment to encourage the study of health and disease from "cell to society"​ and to apply this work in the context of population and public health. The Faculty of Health Sciences is an extension of Simon Fraser University's commitment to excellence in teaching, research and community engagement. The Faculty brings together experts from social, population and policy sciences, biomedical sciences, and public health sectors who are dedicated to generating new knowledge and applying their skills to improving the health of people in Canada and around the world. Our undergraduate and graduate programs offer our students enriching learning experiences outside of the classroom. We foster adaptability in our students, and encourage them to build connections to ideas and communities through opportunities to work locally, nationally, and internationally. The Faculty of Health Sciences approaches both our research, and our educational programs in a multi-disciplinary way, encouraging researchers, students and professors from different disciplines to collaborate.
