Semar was founded in 1980 as an independent engineering consultant firm devoted primarily to the offshore oil and gas industry. The technical staff consists of highly qualified engineers, naval architects, marine consultants, master mariners, and designers with profound professional experience. Today, we offer a wide range of services towards both oil & gas, offshore wind as well as aquaculture. With our own staff, supplemented sometimes by co-operating and affiliated companies, we are capable of handling both small and large projects in a flexible and effective manner. Our services include concept development, engineering and design, preparation of fabrication drawings and specifications, fabrication follow-up, development of operational procedures for transportation and installation of inshore and offshore installations including on-site supervision.
