Lootah Trading was initially established as the procurement arm for the in-house requirements of its construction related sister companies within the S. S. Lootah Group of Companies. Over the years and based on considerable experience and buying power the trading division expanded into the wholesale market supplying building materials to the rapidly expanding construction activity in Dubai and adjacent Emirates together with the re-export market to neighbouring Gulf States, India and regional countries. With the continued strength in the housing market and ongoing trend of residential home development in the expanding suburban localities surrounding metropolitan Dubai and Sharjah, S. S. Lootah Trading ventured into the retail market opening a prominently located showroom in central Dubai. The showroom offers the homeowner a full range of products to suite all styles and budgets, including exclusive selections from many leading and reputed companies in Europe.
