Royalton Partners

Royalton Partners is an authorised alternative investment fund manager (AIFM) providing portfolio and risk management for third party clients pursuing real estate, private equity, infrastructure and fund of funds strategies as well as debt funds within these asset classes. Royalton Partners was formed in 1996. Since the receipt of the AIFM license in May 2014, apart from the management of its own funds, Royalton Partners has developed a regulatory solution for other alternative investment funds (AIFs) affected by the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (“AIFMD”) — the Royalton Third Party AIFM Service, which provides access to the EU marketing passport for fund sponsors. Typically, Royalton Partners is appointed by the General Partner of a fund as the AIFM performing risk and/or portfolio management, valuation, marketing and regulatory reporting. The history of the management team goes back to 1990, when the partners started working together at Ceskoslovenska Obchodni Banka in Prague. The team built their track record by managing hybrid equity funds in the region during the early 1990s. At the peak of their early investment activities they managed assets in excess of US $150 million. Royalton Partners currently advises Royalton Capital Investors II ("RCI II"​), a private equity fund established in 2007, which holds a regional investment in Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia as well as other investments in Romania and Lithuania. Royalton Partners also advised Royalton Capital Investors LDC ("RCI I"​), a 2000 vintage, US $94 million private equity fund which acquired six investments in Poland, Hungary and Estonia.
