In 1896, Charles Rao established a small saloon in New York City. More than a century later, the business continues to be family owned and operated. Rao’s Specialty Foods was formed in 1992. Southern Italian cuisine is the key to its success, and for over 25 years, Rao’s has been refining and designing mouth-watering recipes for private homes nationwide through the establishment of the Rao’s Homemade® line of products.
